Assessing the students. Monitor scholl

   the assessment in class of Monito school reflect the concepts and skills that the teacher  emphasize in class. teacher made judgment of students´ performance.    Teacher assess students performance in group and individually. in reading teacher assessed one by one and other students stay in their seat doing other assignment, in group students is in groups of four and teacher goes from group to group assessing in each group individually and other students stay in groups with the same reading that the teacher is doing the assessment, they read with their partner but with the same topic that teacher is doing assessment. Classroom Managenent

Last week at Monitor School. Classroom Management is a large variety of skills and techniques that the teacher use to make students keep focus, organize and attentive and task. and academically productive during class.   Now I realized why my classroom management was not so effective. I needed to set roles in class, and make students work with timer. In class that I was observation I saw how the teacher establish classroom rules from the moment students stand at the classroom till the moment they have go back through the door.  The teacher has a classroom helper pocket short with different activity to do and names on each activity. for example: one student sharpen the pencil,  tables cleaner, door older, lunge manager, trash collector, etc. they also work with timer. Teaching writing

   Fluency and accuracy in to writing activity is the ability that the student have to  understand what they read. The way I will incorporate fluency and accuracy into my writing activity, first I will stimulate the interest in students with activities for their level, do brain storming, model the lesson,  re - read writing, let student work in pairs and group to generate ideas and peer edict by using simple writing task. let students make a book with their word. with all these technique's students will be more motivated and will show more interest in learning another language and will share their task with other students. 

Teaching Reading

The reading strategies that I use often in class is to let students repeat and memorize, they read just  what is writing in their text book. Now I will try the reading station. that way students will now the vocabulary, first I will read the student a short fun story,  next I will make use key words making students interact with their peers guessing and playing games with  the vocabulary that way I will know what vocabulary I will have to reinforce. and last let students build sentence with words given,  with this way students will be able to read their sentence on their own.

Teaching Speaking.

The challenge in my teaching context is that students and their parents don't speaks English, and they don't have the necessary tools for me to teach, they are also students with limited resource. I will address them by using recyclables and cheap materials that I would have whiting my reach. I would make students enjoy the class and learn as possible having fun. having fun in class will allowed students to be calm and have more confidence in themselves. I will also keep improving my English for a better communication.

teaching listening

With the techniques of teaching listening I will select appropriate material for my students because they are language beginner leaners. I will also have key words for students, that way  they will communicate with their partners in a effective way.     Techniques that seems more effective for my teaching context, is the techniques of interaction, because it will play a good role in listening comprehension. student will interact with each other with  clue words and I would model the class depending on the topic and the grade. The techniques that seems less effective his the technique off repetition. In my class the techniques that I always used is the repetition now I  realized that  techniques is les effective for our  students with ea. first I will model  the topic of the class and next make student interact with each other.

Class Room rules. First grade. Monitor School

   las week I had the opportunity to observe the first grade in Monitor School, I observe how the  teacher set rules in her class. Students from the moment they walk in the class they walk in row, they place their backpack in the shelf and set their table, timer is on, student go to the carpet the student that on the carpet she will say, I like how such students is on the carpet! I like how other students is on their carpet, on so on. student that is not on the carpet she will say, eyes on me! they answer eyes on you! students that is not on carpet, teacher said, is your choice to go on the carpet, and students payed attention and go on carpet. teacher  will also say, good job, are good try. She always let students know wish behavior or appropriate and which are not. when the student is quite she goes to students and, she said, I like the way you are  in your spot.
