My observation in Monitor first grade class
During Monday to Friday 12 of October I was able to observed first grade class at Monitor School. During my observation, I saw the calmness and the dedication to her class. when she started her class. At the beginning of the class she start with a song for the students to greet their classmates. if anyone is missing the take a deeply breathe for the student that missing to wish the student well. she plays a next video that make students dance both at the end of the song the student is in silence sitting on the carpet, that's how the songs end.
the teacher started to speak with the students saying that she love the way they are. The teacher started her class with a chart in alphabetical order with a song, she sings the sounds of the alphabet on the students repeat the sounds of the alphabet. finished that, the teacher sings another song so the students gets their folder and go back to their sits on the carpet. the teacher model to the students what they their task is all about students ask question and teacher answer, some students go to the board selected by another student that take out the name with a pop stick with the name on it. after that a low bell ring, the timer that meagers the time, is time is time for the students to do their task on their own the paper was in each folder, in a few minutes the bell rang the students automatically went
and put their paper in a basket. The teacher solved the task on the board with student's going to the board. And that was is the way how the class the class was gave in a professional and effective way. in my class I would use all the techniques and methodology that the teacher us in class for an affective teacher. because I had learn that if the students don't work with timer, they would work slow and working with timer help transition to different time task, my students would stay focused on task because will put limit because the task will have duration. Everything that I learn I will take advantage of it and use it in my classes because its benefit me.

I am glad that you are observing and learning techniques which you will be able to put into practice in your own classes. That is the real objective of all this.
ResponderBorrarI have taught in many places and situations and I pick up new ideas wherever I am and carry them to the next place I go to teach. If you stay teaching for any length of time, you really need new ideas to keep yourself interested in the work you are doing and of course to keep your Ss interested as well.
I sounds as though you have some very specific ideas to take back home with you and to your classes.
